Your child leads
Nina built SpeechBarn around how children actually learn — through play they choose. “This removes all pressure to perform. Your child leads, so they’re engaged.” Every game follows that rule from her clinic.
Nina is a UK registered speech and language therapist — and the founder who built SpeechBarn. She’s helped hundreds of children find their words, from toddlers making first sounds to school-age kids working on clearer speech. And she knows the journey from the inside: “I had speech therapy myself as a child. I know what it’s like to need that support — and I built SpeechBarn so families don’t have to wait months to start.”

Hundreds of children helped

Her origin story
Nina needed speech therapy as a child. That experience stayed with her — and shaped the therapist she became. She trained in the NHS and spent years with children in early-years settings and primary schools, helping hundreds of families. She loved the work. But the system broke her heart. “Families wait 8–10 months for therapy while their children struggle. I couldn’t keep sending parents home with nothing to do in the meantime.”
First she founded Two Golden Words, her online practice, so families could get real therapy without the waitlist. Then she built SpeechBarn — the same sound-by-sound methods from her clinic, turned into a barnyard game parents can open tonight. Not in eight months. Tonight.
“You haven’t done anything wrong. You haven’t caused this.”
How Nina built SpeechBarn
Nina built SpeechBarn around how children actually learn — through play they choose. “This removes all pressure to perform. Your child leads, so they’re engaged.” Every game follows that rule from her clinic.
In Nina’s practice, she works through the parent: “I’ll teach you exactly what to do, and you’ll practice at home.” She built SpeechBarn so that guidance isn’t locked inside a session — you can open it tonight.
Letters are spoken as true speech sounds in a research-based sequence — the same progression Nina uses in therapy, sound by sound, word by word. That’s the spine of every level she designed.

Need more than practice?
SpeechBarn is the at-home practice Nina designed — it never replaces a therapist. If your child needs an assessment or regular therapy, Nina still sees families across the UK through Two Golden Words: no waitlists, no stressful clinic visits, and sessions that fit real life — before nursery, during nap time, or after school.
“Nina made us feel so supported from our very first call. She explained everything clearly — and progress has been amazing.”
“We were so worried about our daughter’s speech. Nina was reassuring, professional, and gave us exactly the guidance we needed.”
Five minutes a day, designed by a therapist who lived this journey herself. The first lesson is free.
